Both artists exhibited at art fairs in 2011, where they met sipping proseco and discovered they live 10 minutes from each other, in central London (north of Soho). Here they began to make connections between them other than simple geography. Attracted to each other’s work, charisma and drive they embarked upon working towards how they may work together or support each other’s talent and career development.
They have exhibited together in 'pop-up' events in central London and were selected to exhibit as part of The Other Art Fair in the Truman Brewery, East London in October 2013. They were again selected by a panel including Tracey Emin and gallerist Zavier Ellis to showed together at
This is where they met 5 other like minded artists and began to plan to collaborate. Show together and become a crucial support mechanism and critical framework for each others development.
NOHO Artists grows, working with 'Guest Artists', continuing to self-represent online and at Art Fairs, organise and curate group shows, create 'Pop-Up' events with the ambition of nurturing talent.
In the coming months we will be launching:
NOHO Artists Editions, a small run of limited edition prints or works on paper from each of the artists.
NOHO4Rent, an art rental scheme for domestic and corporate spaces.
